Meet Kara Sebastian

When Nancy Frietch announced her plans to retire after 24 years of service, Aronoff, Rosen & Hunt had to find just the right person to carry on her tradition of dedication as accounting and billing clerk. AR&H found that person in Kara Sebastian.

Kara’s dedication to detail and hard work were clear as she recently completed her degree in accounting technology from the University of Cincinnati. While in school, she worked at Cincy Auto-Moto as the point person for accounts payable and receivable, while managing the overall office.

During the interview process, Kara knew she had found the right place. “It was a perfect fit for everything I had been learning. I really liked what the partners had to say about the firm, and it was a great environment.”

Kara’s main responsibilities are transcribing the monthly activities of AR&H attorneys, billing their time and receiving payments. Kara credits her good start at the firm to the month-long on-the-job training she received from Nancy. “Nancy was very generous with advice about what to do and what not to do in order to spare me from needing to do lengthy fixes,” said Kara.

Managing partner Richard Paolo said the team is pleased to have her on board. “We think Kara makes a great addition to AR&H. She has the exact combination of dedication, attention to detail and teamwork that we wanted for the firm.”

When she’s not at work, Kara enjoys spending time with her husband Rod, and eight dogs with four of them being rescue dogs – a German shepherd, a pit bull and two a mix of pit bull and Lab.
